On Sunday, 24th of July, The Message Trust's Creative Mission Team travelled to Citrusdal to run a holiday club for a week with Hebron Community Projects and a team from the United States that supports the work of Hebron. Here is some feedback from the team about the experience:

The theme for this year’s holiday club was team work, which helped us get the young people working together towards a common goal.  It was so exciting to be back in Citrusdal to see the children that we have been working with over the last 3 years.

We split the young people into teams according to their grades and every morning we began with a warm up, games, worship, and Gilead sharing Bible stories. In the latter part of the mornings, we would teach Genetik Sessions; spoken word, dance and vocals, preparing them for a big showcase performance on Friday night with their parents. It was great to see how the young people were involved with everything in the programme, their response to the stories and the amount of fun that they had.

Through our time in Citrusdal, we have seen transformation in the lives of the young people we work with and improvements in their confidence and self-esteem over the years.

Doing holiday club in Citrusdal alongside Hebron Community Project was incredible and gets better every year. The hospitality, the service and the amazing young people of Citrusdal is always a highlight of our year. We are thankful, to Hebron Community Project for giving us the platform to share the gospel with the young people.
